Located in Wilmington, North Carolina adjacent to I-40, the historic city of Wilmington offers a quaint and charming downtown area, providing the perfect backdrop for a new life-drug and alcohol free. With beautiful Wrightsville and Carolina Beach within 5-10 miles from the heart of the city, Freedom By The Sea is successfully operating three men's recovery homes in Wilmington.

At Freedom By The Sea, we will provide men, a safe, stable, and comfortable place to begin the road to recovery. Because the path toward recovery can be challenging at times, we feel it is very important to have support systems in place, as well as some structure in the beginning. With this in mind, all our homes house recovering addicts that have shown a strong desire to remain clean, and continue to display a willingness to follow the 12 Step Program model for recovery. Utilizing a Three Phase System, we gently guide recovering addicts in a direction towards being a successful, joyful, and productive members of society.

Because we know addiction is a disease that must be treated on multiple levels, we strive to attack this deadly disease from many different angles. With a combination of tough-love, compassion, and empathy, we will be there for the recovering person to help him pick up the pieces of his broken life and create a renewed sense of confidence and accomplishment..
